Our Experience
We LOVE active dates, so renting bikes in San Clemente was right up our alley. We opted for a couple of cruisers and headed straight to the beach trail. The path is mostly flat, super scenic, and has plenty of space for everyone whether you’re riding solo or wobbling your way on a tandem (no judgment, we’ve been there!).
The best part? You’re never far from the ocean. We stopped for beach photos, watched the surfers, and even took a snack break at the pier. The staff at Bicycles San Clemente were friendly and helped us pick the right bikes (pro tip: try the seven-speed if you want a little more zip).
We didn’t try the electric bikes this time, but we’re definitely eyeing them for a future ride especially if we want to venture further up the coast!
